My approach to counseling is influenced by Attachment, Behavioral, and Systems Theories. My approach and philosophy in counseling is guided in the belief that clients have the power to heal and change. I utilize skills to enhance problem solving, recognizing unhelpful patterns, stress management, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and behavioral interventions. I encourage and support utilizing Traditional Native Healers and teachings that support our Indigenous understanding of wellness and health.
