About Us

Greetings and welcome to the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority website.

I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our NEW site.

There have been and are many changes going on here at PTHA, and I would like to take a moment to share a few of those changes with you.

  • We updated our website as we wanted it to be more useful
  • We passed AAAHC and our Dental Department was deemed a Dental Home
  • We updated signage inside the Takopid building
  • New parking was added to support staff
  • We will be adding a marquee, facing 32nd Street, to provide information for our patients
  • We have established an Integrated Behavioral Health Department
  • We received an award from Portland Area Indian Health Service for improving access to care and quality care for our patients
  • We were awarded the Indian Health Service IHS Director’s Award
  • Implemented Patient Satisfaction Surveys with every visit

These are only a few of the great things going on at PTHA. We are constantly looking for ways to improve access to care and quality care for our patients.
