Resident Benefits

We are committed to supporting our medical residents by offering a comprehensive and generous benefits package designed to enhance their well-being, both professionally and personally. Our program includes competitive compensation, extensive health and wellness coverage, professional development opportunities, and resources to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

First-year resident $69,112

Second-year resident $71,846

Third-year resident $74,801

Residents are eligible for fifteen (15) days of paid time off per contract year.

Up to five (5) workdays of paid education/professional leave to attend educational conferences per contract year.

Resident will be paid a $2,500 professional development allowance during each contract year, less applicable employment taxes. (Allowance could include but is not limited to: travel, CME, text books, exam fee, equipment, licensure, and professional membership dues.)

Residents will be provided with a comprehensive medical plan effective the first of the month following date of hire. Insurance coverage for resident’s spouse and/or dependents may be purchased at the expense of the resident as a payroll deduction.

Residents will be provided with a comprehensive dental plan effective the first of the month following date of hire. Insurance coverage for resident’s spouse and/or dependents may be purchased at the expense of the resident as a payroll deduction.

Residents will be provided $10,000 Group Life and $10,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance coverage effective the first of the month following date of hire. Resident may purchase additional Life and AD&D insurance coverage as a payroll deduction.

Residents are able to purchase disability insurance as a payroll deduction.

Residents are eligible for access to a voluntary, confidential program that provides professional assistance and counseling referrals for you and your immediate family for problems that affect your personal or professional life.

Residents assigned to in-house call will receive a meal stipend given each pay period for use in the hospital cafeteria.

Each resident will receive lab coats at no cost to the resident. Laundry service for lab coats is provided at no cost to the resident.

On-call rooms are provided for all residents assigned to in-house call.

Deposit of your bi-weekly paycheck directly to your checking and/or savings account is available.

Residents will receive a smartphone.
