First Confirmed Measles Case Confirmed in King County
A case of measles has been reported in Washington. Measles is a highly contagious disease that spreads through the air and can cause serious health complications. The best way to protect yourself and your family is through vaccination. If you or your child is behind on immunizations, now is the best time to start.
Symptoms to watch for:

✅ Cough, runny nose, red eyes
✅ Rash that starts on the face and spreads
